Legal ethics covers a lot of territory. Discipline, admissions, conflicts, disqualification, fees, fee agreements and fee disputes, law office management, courtroom behavior, substance abuse and mental health issues. And it keeps expanding. Keeping up with the avalanche of new cases, statutes, rules, ethics opinions and proposals can be a challenge even for the ethics lawyer. As discipline has become regulation, the more expansive term “law of lawyering” has come to describe this expanding area of jurisprudence.
My practice areas include legal ethics and the law of lawyering. Follow the link for more information on each area.
